"BRIDESMAIDS has a fully rounded, textured and original script....The actresses are all scene-stealers..." -- Grade: A
Entertainment Weekly - Owen Gleiberman (05/20/2011)

4.5 stars out of 5 -- "BRIDESMAIDS is a four-square piece of populist fun that ranks as quite possibly the best mainstream American comedy in years....Star Kristen Wiig is a force of nature all to herself..."
Box Office (03/15/2011)

3 stars out of 4 -- "Kristen Wiig plants a bawdy, brave and brashly feminist flag in the male-dominated raunch-com genre with BRIDESMAIDS, a comedy from the Judd Apatow atelier that his fans have long been waiting for."
Washington Post (05/13/2011)

"After shining on SNL, Kristen Wiig finally has a lead role worthy of her comic talents. And wedding prep gets the absurdly humorous treatment it deserves."
USA Today - Claudia Puig (05/13/2011)

3.5 stars out of 4 -- "Wiig is rather brilliant in her physical comedy....The movie does a good job of introducing a large cast and in particular keeping all the members of the bridal party in play."
Chicago Sun-Times - Roger Ebert (05/11/2011)

"With its irreverent humour and comical cast, this female ensemble movie has more in common with Apatow's unisex KNOCKED UP than your average girlie wedding comedy....Heavy on improv and chemistry..."
Sight and Sound - Anna Smith (07/01/2011)

3 stars out of 4 -- "Wiig is an indisputable goddess of comedy. And this rowdy fem-friendship movie she stars in and wrote with Annie Mumolo is infused with the Wiig brand of wicked mischief."
Rolling Stone - Peter Travers (05/27/2011)

4 stars out of 5 -- "The standout here is Melissa McCarthy....She goes all out to be this flick's Zach Galifianakis."
Total Film - Neil Smith (06/01/2011)

"An unexpectedly funny new comedy....It goes where no typical chick flick does: the gutter."
New York Times - Manohla Dargis (05/13/2011)

"Wiig was already on her way to becoming the new grande dame of comedy..
