Welcome to our Shona page! Shona (or chiShona) is a Bantu language, spoken by the Shona people of Zimbabwe, and in southern Zambia, Mozambique, and Botswana. Shona is a main language in Zimbabwe, along with Ndebele and the official language, English. There are a number of dialects of Shona, and the main groupings are: Hwesa, Karanga, Zezuru, and Korekore.
