[ENGLISH TRANSLATION]--After a big mistake on their first attempt, Jason and Eliseo begin a second journey through time to the same place as before, Heaven. The dramatization admirably portrays the historical and literary settings imagined by the writer. Argenis Chirivella gives aural life to Jason, the principal character in Bentezs serialized saga. Chirivella has mastery of the Latin-American Spanish accent, using the media-standard pronunciation throughout. During brief moments, his native accent from Venezuela shows through, but these slips in no way detract from such an excellent narration. Ral Amundaray adds theatrical professionalism with his memorable and deep voice as the person of Jesus. All characters find a pace and rhythm most conducive to a pleasant understanding of an enjoyable performance. J.A.H. © AudioFile 2007, Portland, Maine-- Copyright © AudioFile, Portland, Maine
