This course uses the pronunciation of the Okanogan/Colville dialect. The course consists of 30 lessons providing vocabulary phrases and sentences on subjects of everyday interest, such as work, weather, directions, food, and money. The Salish author, Andy Joseph, thinks many of the sample sentences which illustrate language structure are on the wild side; we find them amusing: "I'm done eating now. Let's go." "Your husband can see real good." "He saw an elk." "The devil is no good."
