This series of three games, each having four levels of challenge, is designed to help beginning readers develop eye movement skills that are consistent with those used for reading in general, and reading captioned television in particular. Reading captioned television is more challenging than reading books because the words do not remain on the screen and the background images keep changing. This causes the eyes to “jump” to capture the video, rather than proceed left to right uninterrupted, as usually happens when reading a book, magazine, etc. Users must play all of the games (eye activities) to capture the highest score.
